Did you know that up to twenty percent of adult females cease taking Danazol because of its fallouts and negative effects?
The effects of using the drug are very common, involving eighty percent of adult females who undergo Danazol treatment.
Consequences of Using Danazol
The majority of the side effects disappear within a few months after breaking off therapy, but certain effects of this drug are considered permanent. For example, the deepening of the patient's vocalization and destruction of the body's voice control mechanisms could be irreversible.
Other major effects include: extreme weight gain and repetitive muscle spasms. Patients taking danazol have also reported diminished breast size, and involuntary flushing of the skin. Danazol consumers have suffered from diminished breast size, oily material on the face, and overgrowth of body hairs. Depression is known to occur among Danazol patients, as are severe acne issues.
Danazol can create an unexpected increase in man-like features, like deepening of the voice and accumulated body hair (hirsutism) and facial hair. An alteration in speech processes as a result of Danazol consumption can be unfortunately irreversible.
The drug may increase ovarian cancer factors if used to address endometriosis. Furthermore, Danazol causes elevated cholesterol amounts in the body. A few patients have reported skin rash and irritation.
Danazol and Bones
Danazol doesn't bring about the loss of osseous tissue (bone) like GnRH (gonadotropin releasing hormone) treatment does, but rather, danazol effects are usually more serious than the fallouts that occur when GnRH is utilized with add-back treatment.
Add-back treatment or therapy requires consuming an extremely small amount of estrogen. This holds estrogen levels just high enough that bone problems and menopausal fallouts are not really as serious as with GnRH treatment alone.
If you have an abnormally high risk for acquiring high cholesterol or liver disorder, your physician will probably consider an alternative type of treatment.
Don't use danazol if you are or can become pregnant. Because of likely damage to a growing fetus, it is important to use a barrier form of contraceptive, like condoms, to prevent pregnancy when using danazol. Begin taking the drug on your menstrual period to keep from using it while pregnant.
